Considering a move to Cary, NC
Please let me know your thoughts on the area. From what I read, there is a lot of transplants, so that would be nice. I have two young kids and I hear it is family-friendly. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!
Re: Considering a move to Cary, NC
We live in Cary and love it. Compared to the rest of the Triangle area, Cary is a bit more expensive to live in. I'm not sure where you are coming or the cost of living there, but you may have to take that into account.
Cary is a very safe area with a lot to do in the surronding areas. There are a ton of transplants here. Cary is affectionately referred to as the centralized area for relocated yankees!
It is definitely a family friendly area.
I wouldn't move without having a job in place (but I wouldn't more anywhere without that).
Do you have any specific questions?
We would be moving from a higher cost of living place. It is for a job for DH. Probably will be renting to make sure we like the area first and we also have the house to sell here.
I am looking for a big development with you know the community pool and everything. Lots of families with young kids. Are there any that come to mind?
