this...whenever i buy stuff online, i email H first to gauge his reaction. i don't send it to him unless i already know i want to buy it. but if he reacts about how expensive it is, i have to nix it

H: What? What are you buying three pairs of for three hundred and eight five dollars?! Are you buying more boots? (pauses video games and turns to stare at me like )

Me: What? No! Thee dollars and eighty five cents! I'm getting little replacement pieces for my head phones. 

H: Oh. Ok.

ETA: I texted H and told him if he couldn't look at the email to at least tell me a $ amount - although this isn't really 'fair' because if I got a purse vs. a wallet his reaction would be different (whether it was a better deal for one than the other).

well, as my grandpa always said "you never see a moving truck following a hearse" (i.e. might as well spend the money because you can't use it when you're dead - although you can be buried in that dress if you want!)

this is true.  Do you think it's the classic KS green though?  I guess I don't know the name of the green   I always thought it was a Kelly green, but the names of the greens for the different bags are all different.  Not that is matters, lol

ETA: ok, see, the other ones are mostly "vine" and this is "kiwi".  I thought it was a little bright, maybe that's why it's on sale.  Ugh, this is a stupid thing to be 'sad' about (not actually sad, but you know 'not the same')

Yeah, this is a little brighter than the true KS green, but IMO it's still pretty close.
