Tell me what races you are running in Sept-Oct? I usually run the Komen but I stupidly scheduled myself to lecture that morning. It's a stupid stupid stupid lecture too, I really wish I could un-schedule it, but I cannot.

Well, I have the Beach Palooza Sept. 24th, the Gruene 10K Sept 10th, and the 5150 triathlon Oct. 24th.
ETA: Oh, I am also doing the Toughest 10K in Kemah and the Galveston Causeway Run October 23rd...
If you do the Toughest 10K in Kemah, along with the Causeway 10K and the La Port Bridge Half marathon December 4th, you get an awesome medal!! I can't do the La Port Bridge one, because I am already signed up for the full marathon in Dallas that same day. :-(
There is a 5K in Galveston this weekend at Moody Gardens that supports the Galveston County Food bank.
Sept 10th in Galveston, there is a 5K/10K run in Galveston called the "Galveston Revival Race" and the proceeds go towards the Galveston Historical Foundation. With the registration fee to this race, it includes a free ticket to Dickens on the Strand!
