Anyone else?!

Re: Time for fall!

I need more too. I got rid of a bunch of fugly ones I had last year, so now I need to replace:) Michael's already has some fall stuff on sale!

  • I don't have any fall decorations, only Halloween decor.  So I have to wait a little longer before putting those up.

  • I am doing a fireplace theme each season then accenting with decor for the holidays. I cannot WAIT to put up fall. I am doing it next weekend though. I need to shop first!

  • I have a few fall decorations, but I'm not ready yet.  Maybe in mid-September.

I wish we had a mantle/fireplace.   My "decorations" consist of a few dining room table centerpieces and wreaths on the door......

  • Yeah, it's still in the 90s here, so I'm going to wait on that for a bit. I'll probably starting putting pumpkins and things out middle of Sept. Pinterest definitely makes me want to do a better job with seasonal decor.

    I just...can't.

It was 106 here yesterday. Its in the low 100s and upper 90s all week. It won't feel like fall here until late October/early November. Its hard to get excited about the season change when it happens so late. And it becomes impossible to shop because everyone carries sweaters starting in September, and I'm still in flip flops. I'm envious of ya'll with 4 seasons :)

I'm with JA on this one. It's just still too hot. I don't anticipate that it will actually start feeling like fall until probably late october/early november.

I can't wait to make sparkly pumpkins though!

  • All I can say is:

    P.S.L's.

paired with a pumpkin scone. I'm so ready for fall.

  • I was cleaning the house last week and said to Danny, "I guess we can take down these 4th of July decorations, huh...OOOH!! I can put out my fall---no, I at least have to make it to Labor Day...."

It's starting to behave more like fall here. Foggy mornings, chilly evenings, and hot as fluck days. I hope the days start to chill to at least 70 soon.

But it's not really fall until THESE are available:
