1. I think the most obvious question is, if you had been in her situation, would you have come forward with the knowledge that your adopted child was possibly an abducted child?

That is so hard to say.  After so much time bonding with the child how could you give him or her up?   But then thinking of how the other parents are suffering with not knowing is horrid to do to someone.  In the end, I think I would come out and say something.

It is difficult to know what I would do in that situation. I think I would have gone to the lawyer like she did and then when he gave that strong advice to not open a can of worms, would have stopped there. I don't know. It would be hard to live with knowledge and know that some other mom is out there suffering, but on the other hand, you would suffer too if you had to give the kid up. It is sorta lose lose. And to take the child away from the only family he knows?

I agree.

But like Mary said, I think I would consult a lawyer about what I should do. I don't think I would go through the lengths that she did with the DNA testing and acquiring the samples, etc.
