Did you go to prom? My high school had both a junior prom and a senior prom...I went to both.
Who did you go with? I went with my high school boyfriend to both of them.
What was your dress like? My jr prom dress was gold....at the time I thought it was GORGEOUS. I spent $300 on it which was a lot to me then. I also wore gold gloves with it! My senior prom dress was a turquoise blue. It was far less detailed then my jr prom dress, but I did think it was very pretty.
Is it a fond memory? Both proms were fun, but by the time my senior prom rolled around I was totally checked out of high school. My whole group of friends left the actual prom early so we could head to a friend's cabin and drink for the weekend.Did you go to prom? Yes, senior prom (all our school offered).
Who did you go with? My high school boyfriend, he was only a sophomore.
What was your dress like? My mother made my dress because I wanted a pink dress and that wasn't a popular color that year at the stores. I loved it because I got to have it be exactly what I wanted. I still have it, it looks so tiny now
Is it a fond memory? It was a fun night, I didn't drink back then and neither did my friends. My dad drove us in his BMW and afterward we had a big slumber party at my house.

Did you go to prom? yes, both junior and senior prom
Who did you go with? i went stag junior year, and i went with a good male friend senior year
What was your dress like? Junior year was a navy blue halter gown I got on the clearance rack at David's Bridal. Senior year, it was huge (i think it had 12 layers of tulle or something), white with pink flowers and subtle sequins scattered throughout. It's something you would imagine a fairy godmother wearing. Actually here's a picture:
Is it a fond memory? All in all, yes. I'm an ultimate girly-girl, so I loved getting to dress up, get my hair and make up done and ride in the limo. Though I was much taller than my date, so the pictures were a bit funny.ETA: that's my brother in the picture... not my date.

a few rounds of clomid and femara... no response.
injectables/IUI 12/12... BFN
Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our LO was born 12/30/13
Did you go to prom? We had a Junior/Senior prom as well. I went 3 times (as a junior, senior, and as a freshman in college because my BF was a year younger).
Who did you go with? junior- just a good friend of mine. senior my boyfriend at the time. freshman year- same boyfriend from senior year.
What was your dress like? Junior- silver and white, long with rhinestone straps. Senior- red, long with a lace up back (but it was not slutty). Freshman- lavender, long halter top style (I borrowed this one)

What was your dress like? Junior- bought it at Filene's Basement prom dress sale for $40? it was eggplant or something like that in color, v neck with a little train? I think... Senior, it was navy (royal blue with black overlay), v neck w/spaghetti straps and some beading. It was pretty.
Is it a fond memory? I loved junior prom... I was super sick at my senior prom and don't remember much besides feeling like hell rolled over.

Who did you go with? Junior with a random HS boyfriend, Senior with a friend. I enjoyed going with a friend MUCH more. I dated the same guy on and off from my first kiss as age 12 to 6 months before I started dating DH is college. But somehow we never managed to make it to a prom together!
What was your dress like? Jr year was an adorable tea-length BCBG strapless that was black with white polka dots. I still think it's cute. Sr year was a hot pink strapless number that I am less fond of.
Is it a fond memory? Overall, yeah. I don't really have strong feelings re: HS in general. I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, it just kind of happened. I was kind of on the fringe of the "popular" crowd, so I never had to deal with being either an insider or an outsider.
Did you go to prom? I did, both junior and senior and a few other formals my school had, too.
Who did you go with? Junior year I flew solo and went with a group of friends and their dates. Senior year I went with a good friend.
What was your dress like? Junior year it was this long, slinky, off-the-shoulder black number with white lace trim along the shoulders (not as slutty nor tacky as it sounds, I swear
). Loved that dress. Senior year I had some awful knee-length halter thing in a black velvet with some gold trim. Both dresses were dirt cheap ($25 or less as I recall) because I was poor and good at bargain hunting, haha!

What was your dress like? Semi dress was a bright lime green with a black lace overlay making the green color dark. It has straps and slits up both sides. Junior prom dress was a lilac color with a white lace overlay (hmm, a theme) with some glitter. It was spaghetti strap with an open back. Senior prom was a strapless dress in peacock blue with some sparkle imbedded in the fabric. There was a row of rhinestones along the top.
Is it a fond memory? I had fun at all 3. At the senior prom I just danced with everyone elses dates, haha.
Preface, I went to an all girls, private high school, which sucked.

Who did you go with? Junior year- some guy I was sort of dating. He ended up hooking up with a girl who was a kind of friend. I tried to fight her for it. Junior year boy's school- a great friend of mine. Senior year my school- broke up with my BF a week before prom, so ended up taking a good friend, who was a blast. Senior year boy's school- went with my BFF Bill. We had a great time, but the girl who liked him was so pissed he did not ask him, she wanted to kill me
What was your dress like? Junior year- one was short and black with a cool back. I hated it, but was so sick of my mother and the shopping ordeal, so I got that one. The other was borrowed from a friend and I think red. Senior year- one was a pink puffy Jessica McClintock ball gown, the other was a tight baby blue dress with some bling.
Is it a fond memory? Asside from my prom date hooking up with someone else and hearing a different friend have sex on the other side of the couch, I had a great time, especially at the boy's school dances.

Shortest poll ever. heh. (I do have fond memories of my senior prom night - my BFF and I went to dinner at Chi-Chi's, and then went to see Sliver. Which was HILARIOUS. Oh, and some kid from our class was also there, and he asked us if we got carded, so we got to feel smug because we didn't. And even now, almost 20 years later, when we hang out eventually one of us will turn to the other and say, "did you get carded for Sliver?" And laugh hysterically.)
