I came across a really simple idea on Pinterest (tee...hee..hee) and need some help figuring out how to adapt it for my house.
The image below is what I found. I have 2 frames in my house that would be perfect for this kind of art. I would put them in my dining area that is directly attached to my kitchen. My kitchen kind of has a Vino theme to it.
What would you put in the frames?
Re: Wall Art: Need Ideas.
3 ideas I've had so far:
-Instead of using vinyl, use cut out scrapbook paper so that you could add color, texture or patterns
-In between the two frames get some wall vinyl with some sort of phrase. I'm just a little worried that the frames will look to heavy with they vinyl.
-find a cool drawing of a wine bottle that i can imitate using scrapbooking paper
How big are the frames?
Instead of a wine bottle, how about just a wine bottle label? I would think you could create one with scrapbooking papers and personalize so it would be like your family's wine label. If you are into personalization, that is.
I think I would skip the 2nd idea. I imagine it to be quite busy - depends on the size the of the space and what else you have there.
