I think these are dumb. If you really want to raise awareness you'll say something about whatever you're trying to raise awareness about. For instance, "X women are diagnosed with breast cancer every second. Early detection... Self Breast Exams... Donate to Breast Cancer Research... " you know, something not stupid.
But then again I've been betched at for voicing my disinterest of "viral" facebook statuses before...
