How is the no pumping going? Enjoying not pumping any more or did you start back up?

Re: heather

  • LOVING my freedom from the pump. I seem to be pretty well adjusted already, even after just a couple of days. I have been experiencing very little discomfort throughout the days now.

My freezer stash is dwindling, though! I think I am going to start adding a couple of ounces of organic cow's milk to her bottles next week to begin the transition for her.

It's kind of sad knowing this is coming to an end... but it's easier since I have not stopped nursing completely--still doing morning and bedtime sessions with her. Not sure how long I will keep this up. Are you still going with Evie?

  • Yep we are still doing morning and before bed. Sometimes she is totally into it. Sometimes she has a little and just wants to lay down or play. I have found she is more into nursing in the morning if I do it first thing (before diaper and getting dressed). Loving not having to pump! I had it in the car for the first week just in case, but now it is at home. Still get somewhat full at the end of day at work, but not uncomfortable.
  • It is so great to leave the pump at home! It's amazing, I feel so much less bogged down with STUFF in the mornings and evenings since I don't have to lug that thing and the cooler bag around!
