Epic netting fail

I had L's little slip just about put together except for the cotton underslip and waist band.

I forgot to close the bobbin door (mine is on the front) and netting got sucked in and stuck in the feed dogs.  Well, sorta in front of the feed dogs, but in a spot I can't get it out.

I feel like this has happened to me before, but in the end the machine was already going in for a service today and now he'll have something to actually work on.

Re: Epic netting fail

  • How frustrating! I hate when fabric gets pulled down into the feed dogs- so annoying. When I first started working with knits (and had no clue what I was doing), I chewed up a cute little dress right when I was doing the hemline- I had to cut it out, and it just left an awful hole. I was so frustrated with it that I just threw it in the scrap pile. LOL!
  • Oh how disappointing! It always seems stuff like that happens on the projects that just need to get done and over.
