pediatric urgent care?

I hate urgent cares but I'm hoping maybe there is somewhere better to take a baby for urgent care? I thought someone mentioned one awhile back. So if you had to take your baby to an urgent care, where would you go?

Children's has urgent cares in their regular Children's Physician's Pedi offices after like 5:00 I think?  We usually go to one located out behind Village Point, near the Dreams (?) med spa/walgreens.  There is also one located off 144th & Center, in the Children's Physician's office behind Bag & Save, just North of Qdoba...

From my experience, I recommend Peds Express at Bergan over Children's Physicians (144th and Center). The overall experience was so much better... they saw us in a timely manner, gave us clear direction on what we needed to do and were very friendly. I know this may not seem like a big deal --- but I did like how the waiting area was much larger. We went to both places during flu season and nothing is worse than being crammed in a small waiting area with a bunch of sick, coughing, sneezing people.

When we were deciding where to take E last weekend, they told us either the Children's Urgent Care at Village Point or the one located inside Bergan Hospital.

Hands down the Peds ER at Bergen is the place to go. 

I dislike Urgent Cares and Children's is always so stinkin' busy.
