Tonight my main goal is to get my bedroom, living room, and dining room back in order. I need to figure out something breakfasty to make for tomorrow morning at some point.
Tomorrow we're tailgating! It's an early game (boo) but it's the first one of the year so I know it will be a lot of fun. We're going with a big group of friends and it's supposed to be warm outside so I think it'll be a good time.
Sunday we're doing our live draft for fantasy football at Bdubs so it'll be me and the boys lol. I hope that we'll get to work on some painting on Sunday and Monday so that we can call this house project done.
Somehow my weekend is consisting of power tools and football. I don't even know myself anymore.
Tomorrow Alex and I are going back to the state fair. We spent 6 hours there yesterday with my father, tomorrow we're going with H, my cousin and her family. Sunday is a big family thing with H's side down in Plymouth, MA. His cousin is getting married on Saturday, so his grandmother, aunts and uncles from Florida and Maryland will be up. Cousins weren't invited to the wedding, so Sunday will be the gathering for the cousins to see the family. Hopefully Monday won't be anything. It's been a busy weekend already, and it hasn't even really started.
Well, our "vacation" this week has already consisted of preparing for a hurricane, a flooded basement, cleaning said basement and doing our wills - - I'm not sure I can handle much more fun and frivolity :P
H is actually going into the office tomorrow to get some work done which leaves me with the babe all day. I don't know what the F we're going to do with the pool closed. Blah.
Tomorrow we have the annual god-I-hate-going-to-these-kids-birthday-party, but it's family so we have to.
WEBN Firework. BOOM! BOOM! Big Labor Day firework thing in Cincinnati, so much bigger and better than any 4th of July fireworks you've every seen.

I plan to continue sanding and priming our bedroom furniture and attempting to talk H into letting me purchase a different bed --- he's very patient with my furniture craziness, I must give him that.
I also plan on cleaning, considering we've lived in our place for over two months and it is yet to be completely organized. Plus the bathrooms are disgusting. And there's fur everywhere.
Saturday H is having the boys over for a geeky boy game night.
Sunday night we have a wedding reception (eh...)
Monday nothing.
DH may prefer going out of town, but I loooooove long weekends at home!
Today I plan to leave work around 1:30. Get Evie from day care, head to the mall to get her some shoes from stride rite (no clue what size she is and want her fitted into a shoe). I have not bought shoes for her ever, and only plan on having her wear these at day care and when she needs them. I am a big believer of bare feet. Will also walk around and check out some sales.
Saturday, I wanted to go to stroller strides, but that is canceled for the weekend (boo). But going to my working moms group thing (generating a list of questions since I have a lot lately). Need to stop by the bank to deposit checks. That afternoon DH and I are heading out on a non date to get him some new glasses. Maybe a movie after that?
Sunday one of DH childhood friends is hosting a bbq (bring your own beer and meat) so we are bringing the dogs (fenced in dog run), kid, food and us.
Monday going to the fair! Should be a lot of fun. Actually very excited.

Final preparations for the baby - clean and grocery shop (again).
If the baby doesn't come on it's own, we have been invited to a wedding shower tomorrow. Plus it is the first game of the season for Clemson. And our nightstand for the nursery will finally be delivered and someone is coming to look at the roof that started leaking during the hurricane. Then Direct TV comes on Sunday to fix out dish which is out of alignment. God forbid we can't get ESPNU.
I may go for a massage, since I probably won't be able to do that for awhile. I'm probably also going to get a mani/pedi because the dark blue I have on my toes right now seems to be bad baby ju ju and my nails are starting to chip. (Want those fingers looking good in the pictures of me holding baby!)

My Blog of Randomness - Pocketful of Roses
I work this evening. When I get off we are taking all of our tailgate stuff over to my ILs to get things ready to go for the morning.
Tomorrow is Mizzou's home opener. It's an early game (boo...I feel ya, Jaay!). It will be a day filled with tailgating and football. I can't wait.
Sunday morning I am going to visit my BFF. She lives about an hour and a half away in a town along the Missouri river. We are going to hang out on a boat on the river all day Sunday. Monday afternoon/evening when I get home will hopefully involved some cleaning if I have any energy left.
Saturday is an Arts Festival at the local community college that DH and I got to every year. We actually went when we had been dating for about 3 months and made a little paint your own pottery there. We have done it every year since so we have one from each year we've been together.
After that we may go out to a Japanese Steakhouse for dinner with our favorite couple friends, I am not sure yet.
Sunday DH wants to finish installing the gutters and I want him to build this cool laundry sorter that I found on Pinterest.
Monday DH has to work and I will work from home. Unfortunately with the September 15th deadline looming I don't have much choice, bleh.
We're fighting with the cable company right now (they suck), so essentially we're cancelling the account under Paul, and signing up under me so they don't raise our prices 40%. But, that means we will be without TV and internet all weekend during the transition, which hopefully means we will be very productive!
Today, I get out early, and we're heading to a friend's house to watch the Michigan State game (which starts at 4:30 local time - Jaay and Lynds, early games out here start at 9am! Now that's early).
Tomorrow - no plans. Maybe we'll finally paint the bedroom (we've been meaning to for a year now).
Sunday - Bike riding, Yogurtland, and Settlers of Catan with some friends. Nerdy night? Yes. But oh so fun.
Monday - no plans again.
Somewhere in there I need to do trips to the grocery store, Costco, and Target.

College football. That is all.
OK, not really.
Tonight, we may go tailgating. I am potentially chickening out due to the 100+ degree heat index. Either way, watching the Michigan State game tonight. I may splurge and drink a beer *gasp*
Tomorrow, we are constructing some shelving in our basement's unfinished room to make room for baby. I am sick of looking at piles all over the floor so this will definitely help get us organized.
Sunday, I am volunteering as a beer pourer at a free music festival in town.
Monday, no plans but I think the weather is supposed to cool off significantly here. We're in the mid-nineties today and will be mid-sixties by Monday.
No big plans.
DH and I are just hanging around today, but I'm ok with that. It was an exhausting first week of school, so sitting around in my pjs and getting caught up with some chores is ok with me.
Tomorrow my cousin is having a yard sale, so I'll probably swing by her house for a little bit and then we've got dinner plans with some friends.
No plans yet for Monday, but we're thinking of heading to a vineyard to two for wine tastings/tours. That's kind of been our thing lately and it's been a lot of fun going to all the different vineyards in the area.
