Five Things Friday
1. It's almost noon and I just finished my breakfast.
2. I woke up at 10:20 today and I'm actually still tired. 
3. I didn't go to bed until about 1:30 because a nesting fit came over me at midnight and I decided to sort baby clothes. 
4. There was a cricket (I think) prowling around in the hallway last night, so I ran to get the vacuum cleaner (a.k.a. my "bugbuster") and when I came back he was gone.
5. For the rest of the night, I was on high alert with all the lights on, just in case that little F'er decided to reappear.

Re: Five Things Friday
1. I am unreasonably annoyed at FB forwards and things like posting random things for breast cancer awareness.
2. My new boots I bought for fall will be here today. Come on UPS guy! Not that I can wear them yet, but I want to see them anyway.
3. I'm having a spa day later today. Facial and massage. I can't wait.
4. My leftover pasta from dinner last night is dry. Boo! I have to eat it anyway since it is all I have for lunch.
5. At least there is bacon in it.

1. I completely forgot I had to run an experiment today until a couple hours ago, so now I won't get to eat lunch until 1:30.
2. DH just called & apparently his family decided to have a dinner tomorrow... right in the middle of the UM/WMU game. Which means not only will I have to miss at least the second half of the game, but I had to cancel on going to BWW w/ friends.
3. On one hand, I'm hoping that they'll actually have the game on at the dinner since DH's grandpa is a huge football fan, but on the other, I think I'd rather just not watch it at all than have to hear SFIL make snide remarks about UM the whole time.
4. I am so excited for the cooler weather next week. I can't wait to have the windows open all day.
5. According to my birthing class, it is hospital policy that as soon as you're admitted for labor that you get an i.v. and fetal monitoring. I talked to my doctor today and she said they would have no problem with me only having a heparin lock instead of having to pull an i.v. stand around with me during labor, and that there was a good chance we could go with intermittant fetal monitoring and at the very least, the monitoring would be cordless. So happy that it seems like they will be at least a little accomodating.
1. I have a date night with DH. We are going to Ciao's in Dearborn that reopened after a fire at the seigniorial location.
2. I'm hoping that my boss will let us go at 3:00, but none of my coworkers (myself included) want to ask her.
3. I'm "listening" to old episodes of the Dog Whisper and kind of wish my DH would sit and watch them with me.
4. I desperately want to go online shopping for cute fall outfits, but have no $$$.
5. THANK GOD it's a holiday weekend!
1. I am so ready to go home and have been since shortly after I got in this morning.
2. I'm very happy that I don't have to work on Monday.
3. I'm a little sad that I'll need to use the holiday on Monday to get stuff done instead of fun things. But even doing stuff around the house is better than coming to work.
4. We're getting new phones today! My first smart phone. I'm excited about it even though I didn't really want a smart phone.
5. Is it lame that the #1 thing I'll probably use the internet on my phone for is tracking the bus?
1. I want this hot/humid weather to end, last week's cooler weather is fine with me.
2. Our replica bat we bought at the Louisville Slugger Museum was on my porch when I returned from Cincy on Wed. It was cool to see "our last name Family" engraved on it!
3. DS is teething again, which makes him very miserable. DD was never this miserable, so I can't wait until he gets all his teeth in!
4. I just went through my clothes, putting away some summer stuff & getting out some light weight long sleeve tops since it's Sept. & you never know how soon it'll get cool out.
5. It's all quiet, I think both kids are napping (sometimes DD just plays quietly in her room), I should probably seize the opportunity to workout now.
1. On Wednesday I felt like it was Friday. The last two days have been kinda long.
2. My office officially closed at 3:00. I think some people started leaving around 1 or 2:00.
3. It is insanely quiet in my office right now. I think it is me, the law clerk, and possibly one other person.
4. I had lunch with FI today. I
having lunch with him.
5. I am SERIOUSLY looking forward to this weekend. We don't have a whole lot planned (U of M game if weather permits and AB&E), and that is just perfect with me. I have some wedding/honeymoon stuff to look into.
I don't have one either, but tracking the bus sounds like it would be really helpful. It would probably be the most exciting thing for me if I were in your shoes.
OK, I'm totally late but I like to play along.
1. I was going to take a vacation day on Friday but had to go in for a meeting. I'm still bitter about it and feel like my long weekend was cut short.
2. We're going to the UM/WMU game on Saturday. SOOOO fun! Hope it's just as fun sober....we're going to find out!
3. So many people want to get together on Sunday and Monday. I'm kinda down with that but I'd like some "me" time too. Maybe too much "me" time.
4. If I don't start preparing for this baby we're going to be in big trouble. I'm totally a procrastinator but I shouldn't be procrastinating this.
5. I'd like to know where jennic is delivering.
