Homemade whipped shea/cocoa
Has anyone on here ever made their own whipped body cream w/ shea and/or cocoa butter? I've been experimenting with different recipes and it always rehardens. What am I doing wrong? Do you think it's because I've been using olive oil? Overwhipping? Not enough oil? Thanks for any tips

Re: Homemade whipped shea/cocoa
I make body butter with shea butter - 8 parts unrefined shea butter to 2 parts jojoba or avocado oil. I whip it until it gets light and fluffy and it doesn't harden again. I would try whipping it more if I were you and see what happens. I whip mine for a good 5 minutes.
I've never tried olive oil.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
