We have pretty much outgrown our would-be-starter-house-that-we've-been-in-4-years-longer-than-planned.
I want to start looking into selling. I need to find a realtor who can tell me the things we need to do to our house to get it ready for sale (specifics, since I am already aware of the generic things). I especially need a hardworking and good realtor who will get us the most for our house.
I am sure a lot of the realtors out there are good, and this housing market has probably weeded out the crappy ones... but back in 05 we got stuck with a craptastic realtor. A friend recommended him... and to this day, I would still like to kick that realtor in the shins if I ever see him again. And surprise, he is no longer a realtor anyway.
I will NEVER mix friends/family and business again (that includes getting recommendations since that never seems to turn out well!!)
I am not unwilling to consult with a male realtor, especially if he is really good at what he does and knows the St. Pete area very well, but I'd really prefer a female realtor this time around.
TIA for any realtor recommendations!

This is who I and another girl on the board used!I'd be "another girl". Tammy is awesome; I don't know if she covers St. Pete, but if she doesn't, she'd probably know someone who does. Good luck!
