Stupid FB Game (XP from TB)

As I'm sure many of you already know... some genius thought it would be fun to post fake pregnancy announcements on FB and label it Breast Cancer Awareness.

WTF a fake pregnancy announcement has to do with breast cancer awareness is beyond me.  In any case... I wanted to share this blog post I found that details just how inappropriate this "game" is and how hurtful it can be to someone who would give anything for a "real" pregnancy.

I never liked when people even talked about joking about being pregnant - like as a prank or anything else.  Like you said, how this has anything to do with breast cancer awareness, is beyond me too.  Seems insensitive to those who struggle with infertility, m/c etc - and to those who have had cancer/know someone with cancer.. it does nothing to educate people.  It's like a shock value thing that has no value..

Yeah I got that email the other day on FB.  I was supposed to write that I'm 1 week and craving skittles or something like that.  It was silly so I just disregarded it.  Kind of like where to put your purse, what color your undies are or what color your bra is.  I never do any of those.  They don't make sense to me.
