Haha I like this!
I know it sucks when they do that, but often with my DH, it means there's an underlying issue that's been bothering him that he knows shouldn't, but it still does.
I wonder if maybe he's feeling the impending baby busy-ness, and feeling like he's going to fall to the wayside because you'll be too focused on the baby. A lot of new dads feel this way and don't quite know how to express it so it comes out with something insignificant like this. Just a thought.
And yes, I hate passive aggressive crap from a man. Just seems to be the whiny way of handling things.
