Cream puff

The opening words on our realtors description of our house were.  "A true cream puff."   What does that mean to you?

I say, nix it...and come up with something better...but what?

What do you think?

Blech! I hate that phrase, too. It's just weird. It makes me think you've decorated in a TON of baby pink and peach with lacy curtains and tulle everywhere.

I'd go with more normative descriptors like "gorgeous", "serene" or "beautifully-decorated."

I'd stay away from "cute" and "adorable" because in real estate those = tiny.

When I was looking for a house on MLS, I saw a description for a house with those exact opening words. Not appealing. I would re-write. Good luck!

Has to go.  Almost as bad as my realtor trying to describe my house as "just like grandma's" trying to mean that it was cozy and comfortable.

I hate it when REA waste description space with stupid things like that. I'm not buying a cream puff, I'm buying a house so tell me about that.

Plus it is an older saying and makes the house sound outdated.

To me it implies it looks better than it actually is.

Honestly, I don't care for any of the "fluff" that REA often add to listings.  IMO, when you have limited text, cram it full of information about the house.  I can decide if it is the "perfect house in the perfect location"--don't waste your text on that.  Give me DETAILS!!

GAG!!!!!! I would NEVER write that. There are way better ways to say a house is "cute" - like the word "CUTE!!!!" 

I'd eat a cream puff, but not live in one!
