Is eyeshadow primer different from regular foundation primer? I have the Smashbox photofinish primer.

The eyeshadow primer just goes on your lids. It is mostly colorless, goes on wet and then dries, and is kind of a matte surface for you to put your shadow on top of.
It's awesome.
What is foundation primer?! I've fallen in love with Trish McEvoy, so I can't add anything to my regimen. So far, the foundation I got has been awesome and has good staying power.
