And this is why I don't mind that my dh watches football 24/7. If he had on American football as much I may mind, since I find most of those players to be fat and gross. But footballers? Not so much.

I find his face go be oddly proportioned. If we were talking about his former teammate Tim Cahill I would have answered differently.

I said no.  I don't know, maybe it's growing up in SoCal around so many Hispanics, but he could just be your average Mexican dude with a slightly better body.  It's the same reason I find Marcia Cross so much hotter than Eva Longoria.  Whities are more exotic - and therefore hot- to me.

He could just be an average Mexican dude, but I always happened to be highly attracted to the dark skin, dark haired guys.  I am just not that attracted to fair haired/fair skinned men.(probably an evolutionary thing to expand the gene pool because I am so fair skinned that I would probably have transparent children if I made babies with a pasty man) As for Marcia Cross vs Eva Longoria, I totally agree with you. Eva is pretty hot but there is nothing out of the ordinary about her . Marcia has bone structure to die for!

It's always been the same for me (never dated a blonde), and then I read a blurb in an issue of Nat Geo.  They studied lions and the females were more attracted to the males that had darker and longer manes than the males that had shorter lighter manes.
