Hard Surface Vac Rec
We have a Dyson and we used to use it on our linoleum or the laminate in the basement and it worked well for fluffy dust but it didn't quite pick up the gritty dirt (like cat litter). I still love my Dyson for the stairs, upholstery, and for the wand action on baseboards but now that we have predominately hard surfaces I didn't want to have to sweep the entire house every time I cleaned.
I ordered the Bissell PowerEdge Pet stick vac b/c it had really good reviews on Amazon and it's amazing! It's only $49 so it's not a bad price and it's so much more powerful than I expected it to be considering I know how powerful the Dyson is. The little squeegees on the bottom are really helpful at getting all the loose dirt up. We have a lot of it right now b/c there's still dust everywhere from various projects and it's a champ.
Just thought I'd throw that out there if anyone was looking for something similar.
