Any Scrapbookers out there?

Recommend your scrapbooking albums, please? :)

I typically have used whatever was cheap/on-sale at my local craft store, but they don't seem to hold alot and they bulge out when I do fill them ...

Wondering what others use.  Thanks :)

Re: Any Scrapbookers out there?

  • I buy mine from Archiver's...Their books expand so that you can add more pages.

  • Paper Studio albums at Hobby Lobby, Pioneer albums at Michael's and Kohl's, albums from JoAnn's,....  If your album is bulging, are you not adding posts and the cardboard inserts?  An album shouldn't bulge unless you bought one that doesn't accept refills and you've put too much in it.

  • I really like Creative Memories albums (with the strap hinge).  I've never had issues with them bulging.

This. I only use CM albums/pages/protectors.... I will use other brands for just about any other part of the scrapbook, but I am stuck on the albums themselves. It is the only kind I trust and really LOVE.

Find a consultant or check out thier website www.creativememories.com.

  • i use standard school supply three ring binders with acid free portfolio pages. cheap, easy, holds a lot
    Anniversary
  • I really like the sturdy, simply clothe ones at Michaels - I think they are Recollections.

ah-ha, I'm not using any extra posts/inserts, I suppose that's why they seem to bulge a bit ... especially once you add dimensional embellishments and such to a page they get thick sometimes.  thanks for the tip!

     I also like another user's tip for a generic 3-ring binder ... that's a good idea!

  • I got mine from Hobby Lobby on sale for ten bucks. And I haven't had a problem with it bulging, yet lol.
