Today: spending time with Dh before he leaves for NYC tomorrow
Tomorrow: meeting a nestie for the first time ever! Maybe going to see "The Help"
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
me = jealous
Stand up for something you believe in.
We got some really devastating news regarding fertility issues (on Jon's side AND my side, double whammy) on Friday so I guess I'm looking forward to our first RE appointment to see what, if anything, can be done. Trying not to be pessimistic.
Thursday, Jon's anniversary present gets here and I think he'll be psyched. I got him a big shipment of ribs from his favorite place in Memphis.
Friday we have dinner with friends.
Saturday I am going down to RI to hang with my mom.
Sunday maybe going to see The Help with Jon. I went with my mom & sister but it was right after we got the bad news so I was completely not paying attention.
Today- getting the hairs cut and colored... I say hairs because I have lost SO much hair in the last month I feel as if I am going bald. For someone like me with TONS of hair this is seriously disturbing.
Tomorrow- workout number 2 with the trainer. First was Saturday since Charlotte was born and I feel great to be back but have a LOT of work to do.
Thursday- rushing all day to get Charlotte from babysitter to an open house from 5-6pm for Travon (the boy we mentor's) school. It should be interesting.
Friday- no plans as of now.
Saturday- Anniversary dinner with mark
Sunday- Anniv.
I'm so, so sorry. Do you want to talk about it? I totally understand where you are right now.
Stand up for something you believe in.
It's a mess. I thought it was just going to be me and my crazy long cycles but (without getting all-TMI) Jon's tests came back and it's pretty much worst possible scenario so my cycles are like, the least of the problems. And anyone who I would talk about things with, family or friends, how do you have a conversation about your husband's sperm? It's bizarre. I am beside myself and I don't want Jon to feel bad, because obviously it's not his fault, but I'm a disaster.
haha, so I guess I do want to talk about it, it's just a weird conversation to have, you know?
*hugs*
We're here for you if and when you ever do!

Thanks
) I'm hoping that after an RE visit & urologist visit, I'll feel better about things. At the moment though, sh!t looks pretty bleak.
Ugh, I understand that feeling. K's got all kinds of messed up stuff going on and sometimes he just doesn't want to talk about it- it is a hard diagnosis all around.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Sucks. Definitely drop me an email if you want to chat about it! I don't know enough about what's actually wrong yet but what we've heard so far sounds not great. Jon doesn't want to talk about either. He's made the appointment, but he's definitely not yet up for talking about what's going to happen next.
Seriously, of all the things I was worried about, this was definitely not one that I expected.
Beth- I think DD mentioned here before that Robin had some issues and underwent a surgical procedure. She might be able to provide you with some information on how to help Jon deal with it as well. *hugs*
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Oh, that's right, thanks!
Thanks, we hope so too. I guess we'll see..right now we only know/assume what the worst-case scenario looks like so it's hard to focus on anything else. Hopefully after the appointments we'll feel at least a little better.
Dinner tonight at Paul Wahlberg's restaurant, Alma Nove, for our anniversary.
Tomorrow night dinner and drinks with a close HS friend that just moved back home.
Some point between the 8th - 11th picking up my anniversary gift! ?
Ugh...No bueno! So sorry hun. Think positive happy thoughts! Let me know if you need to vent, etc. In the meantime, watch Delonte's KFC skit to make you smile!
Yeah, I know how you feel.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
ha, thanks
) Delonte might help actually!
Ugh
( I'm sorry. Hopefully we both get some happier news soon.
Today is my first day back at work. I have to say I'm enjoying it quite a bit!
Tomorrow my brother is moving out THANK GOD! He's been staying with us for a month until his apartment was ready. I'm ready for my house and privacy back.
Saturday we're celebrating our anniversary. Kevin planned it all this year. We're dropping Nate off at MIL's and getting a couples massage, going to a few wineries, out to dinner and then staying overnight at a B&B. This will be the first time I've left Nathan over night. I don't know how I feel about it yet.
Sunday is my friend's birthday celebration. Busy week and weekend but a lot of fun!
:Blog:
Tomorrow is my 3 hour glucose test... so I'm nervous about that, but I will be eating somewhere amazing for lunch afterwords, so that's a plus
Thursday I have a birthing class to go to, which I'm really excited about! I love doing things to make me feel more prepared for my lil' guy's arrival. Because so far, we haven't done much and we're getting close!
Friday I'm gathering up girls I work with to go get their nails done with me after work (so my nails are pretty for my baby shower).
Saturday: Baby shower in MD! Driving up that morning, heading straight to the shower and dinner plans with friends after.
Sunday: Possible memorial lunch for my mom at my grandpa's, possibly visiting Matt's uncle's memorial bench in front of the Pentagon. And driving back to NC that afternoon.
This is the most plans I've had in one week... like ever.
I'm looking forward to hopefully a quiet and short week!
Getting new tires tomorrow, which is exciting because mine have been loud and annoying (not exciting about spending the $$$).........
