Jax, are you around? RE: Gruene this weekend.
The BF and I will be leaving for Gruene right after work on Friday. We plan on getting a hotel Friday night and then doing the race on Saturday morning. I read that you will be returning to Houston early for C's homecoming.
The morning of, I won't have my cell phone, but I will definitely look around for you.
We are going to camp Saturday night and go to the Gruene Dance Hall. 
We come back on Sunday.
Should be a fun weekend! I hope I get to see you. I will PM you my cell, just in case you want to text or something.

i am still planning to go-- i'm leaving thursday evening and have a bridal shoot on friday morning.
i've been ill with bronchitis/asthma problems for the past couple of weeks, and most likely can't partiicipate in the 10k : ( but we shall see.
this is going to be awesome camping weather!
it may be a dumb question, but is gruene out of wildfire dangerzone? i have been so out of the loop being sick and helping take care of grandma stuff, i don't know.
