Peyton Manning out indefinitely!

I know he has a ton of fans, but this news makes me do a secret fist pump as a Pats fan.  rumors are swirling he will have to have another procedure/surgery on his neck.   good luck w/ Kerry Collins Indy!!

  • I heart Peyton big time!  I knew he was uncertain but I still drafted him in FF.  It hurt to bench him. Sad

  • My sister's boyfriend drafted him on the hopes he'd at least be back by like, Week 3 or so. I like Peyton, so this sucks...but I'm glad I wound up not drafting him, because I really did consider it...

    Hope he comes back soon.

  • I normally don't post on here although I looove sports. I live around Indy and Irsay tweeted (SHOCKER.) that Peyton will be out for "awhile" but as of right now, he doesn't need anymore surgeries. Nonetheless, my hopes and dreams are riding on Kerry-freaking-Collins.

I think Irsay should worry more about Peyton's health and the team and a little less about Twitter, but I'm not even stepping on that soap box.

To the OP-I remember how excited Colts fans were when Brady got hurt a few years ago. Now it's Pats fans turn, I suppose! I'm a Colts fan for 20+ years and I'm hear to tell ya-no need to secretly fist pump with me. I felt the same way when Brady got hurt. We all know Colts and Pats just love each other. Wink

I'm ready to see number 18 out on the field-but I want him out there when he's healthy. I'd hate for him to come out at 60% heath and have a career ending injury.

  • Poor Peyton.  Hopefully Eli can step up into the Manning shoes.

Awww...I was just thinking it sucks to have drafted him. I had the chance but picked up Drew Brees for my FF.
