Fun sewing tip that might come in handy for Halloween costumes
This tip came at the perfect time for me....I just started trying to figure out how to make this year's costumes for the pups, and I always need boning or something to give their costumes some structure.
You can use cable ties as boning.
Duh, right? I know. I wish that I had thought of that.
When I think of all of the weird wired costume parts that my kids my kids and I have put up with over the years, trying to get collars, wings and weird stuff to stand up, I feel kind of dumb for not thinking of that. Especially since I have always used cable ties for everything. Well....almost everything.
