A little help :-)

We found out a few weeks ago that we will be leaving Oklahoma in May, a year earlier than originally scheduled. Hubby will be graduating from OU and we have a load of family members and friends coming up to celebrate the weekend of graduation.

 

I know this is far off but we are looking into a few restaurants to try out before the events. We want to make sure that the price is comfortable ($10-$25) and the atmosphere is welcoming. Do you all have any suggestions for a nice, local (preferably with a website but its okay if none is available) restaurant that has a private area for groups of 20-30? We are not linked to any particular cuisine, just something that is good for different appetites and people.

 

 

We are open to places near Norman and up to 30 minutes away! Thanks so much!

We had our company Christmas party at Iron Starr a few years ago, and everyone really liked it! They've got a whole setup for private events (menu, private room, etc.), and the food is amazing. Here's a link.

A few thoughts (and I agree about Iron Starr--yum!). I think these all have private areas.

Ted's in Norman was my first thought.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Ted's in Edmond, but I haven't been to the one in Norman.  But, as far as the atmosphere and food choices, it was great!

Oh! Another idea is Sooner Legends! We had my mom's 50th surprise birthday in one of their small banquet rooms.

Coach's in Norman isn't fancy, but the food is good and they have a room that seats 70. They helped us with h's celebration and were fabulous!
Also, when I worked at OU, we had dinners and lunches at Victoria's and it was great too.
ETA. Coach's might only seat 40 in their room.

I think Iron Starr closed? Anyways, I would suggest trying Coach's, Seven47, Interurban, Johnny Carino's, Ted's, Othello's, or Benvenuti's. I've been to all of those restaurants with larger parties (but not ones I've necessarily planned).
