I am proud of us
It's been 5 days since our cleaning woman came and my home still looks good - and it's been through a SIL visiting for the weekend, DH taking in all sorts of stuff from his dad's house as he cleans it out to sell/move, 2 playdates, and getting ready for school.
we seem motivated to put things away, and i hope it continues!

last night, by some miracle, Sam was asleep by 8:30 and Ava was tucked in at 9pm, and i plopped my a$$ on the couch with an ice cream cone because there wasn't anything to do - the house was straightened up already, Sam's bottles were made and food gathered for daycare, Ava's lunch was packed with dinner leftovers and snacks and drinks corralled in the fridge, dinner for the next night was planned to be frozen tortellini...there was gloriously nothing to prep or do but eat and watch tv!!!!!
god - i hope being a fat couch potato is not living!
