Walmart shopping carts

Has anyone ever cut their foot on a Walmart shopping cart??? I have cut my pinky toe at least 2 times on their damn carts. Then there was an additional incident where some rude customer ran over my foot with a cart and cut it.

Well I did it AGAIN yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! &$@%# it hurt so bad. I had a trail of blood following me around in Walmart. My mom took one look at it and made me go to patient first. They wouldn't stitch it but they glued it. I had to call my manager today and ask him to put me in peds tomorrow so I can try to minimize walking with a shoe on it. Apparently we are way over staffed so he is just giving me off (Yay 4 days off in a row!!).

My stepmom had down it a number of times to. Its always Walmart shopping carts and pinky toes. I was just wondering if there was anyone else that this has happened too. I'm thinking about starting a class action law suit......bwahhahaha

  • Not with WalMart but at Kohl's I have stubbed my toes plenty of times b/c their carts are so oddly shaped.

  • i dont shop at walmart (the closest one is probably 40 min away) so no i have never done that but if it's happening repeatedly i would talk to the manager. i mean stubbing your toe i could see but if you are leaving there bleeding that's a real issue. perhaps google it to see.

  • I haven't done that, but I swear every time I go to Sam's Club, I smack the crap out of my calf on the bar under the handle.  I did this the other day and it's killing me right now,
  • Nope. I always run into things with the carts, especially at Target, but luckily not myself. I hope your toe feels better!!

I did see my cousin get the top of his finger cut off by a cart when we were younger and all in it and reaching for some little drink things and flipped the cart. It was nasty.

  • Darn.... I was hopping this phenomenon wasn't isolated to me. Thankfully I just got a tetanus shot last year so I am good with that. I do have to say I hardly ever shop at walmart so it makes it that much worse!!!

  • I can drive a car, a motorcycle, a semi or a boat (yes, I have seriously driven a semi, a ferry.. and a tow truck LOL). But I can't guide a shoppng cart. I steer into endcaps, other carts, walls, people, I ran over a little person (I lead an interesting life).. I stand still and let other things hit me! However, I tend not to wear flipflops too often (you ever ride the NYC subway? if so, you know why) so I'm not versed in cutting my pink toes on them... But I'm sure I'd probably cut the whole thing off if I did!
  • I hurt my foot on a shopping cart that jammed I am still in pain I went to the doctor to get xrays. I would be intrested in being a part of a class action lawsuit.
