Pinterest question, I'm dumb

I just joined Pinterest yesterday.  (Yes, I'm addicted already!)  I signed up using my fb so it automatically linked me to a bunch of people, including a lot of you ladies....which is fine.  But, there are also people showing up in my "people I follow" who I don't know and I'm not sure how they got there.  I don't see how to delete them.  I'm sure I must just be missing something.

You should be able to go through your profile and unfollow people like twitter. I'm sorry I never sent you an invite, I only pin from my phone and I couldn't figure out how to invite from there and then I forgot. [insert shameful face here]

This. I joined for about 30 minutes, then got freaked out and deleted.

Thanks, I didn't realize my SIL was on there, so she added me.  haha  I figured it out.  I was somehow following a single board of these random people.  So there was not a big "unfollow this person" button.  I had to unfollow a particular board.  Weird.  Anyway, I also figured out how to unlink my facebook and make my boards unsearchable.  I'll stick with it a little longer and see what happens.  I hate the privacy settings on these sites and how they're automatically set to non-existent.
