N and I are on our way to buy him some pants...but I have no idea what size is the next up from 24 months? Help!
He is huge, plus I cloth diaper. His current pants are a little tight...very booty-licious. Haha
Re: Kids clothing sizes
2T is technically the next size up.
And holy crap! Haha. Tennyson is in 24 month right now...lol.
Hmmm... You're going to have some problems, I think.
2t and 24 months are pretty much the same: (24 months leaves more booty room for diapers). Try out 3t, but I imagine they'll be crazy-long.
Do you sew? I found a pattern that you can print right from the internet. It's very easy and quick. You could play around with it just a little to make it work for N.
Here is the pattern: http://www.dana-made-it.com/2008/07/tutorial-and-pattern-kid-pants.html
It might be fun for you and your mom to work on figuring out the right sizing and some fun fabrics. With cooler weather, flannel pants would be nice and cozy.
I didn't see that gvsu and I were typing the 24mo/2t thing at the same time.
this.
BRU is one of them.
Lol. Kids and their sizes are so funny. Mere wore a pair of pants today that were 18-24m Old Navy (which runs small, IMO) and they were pulled to the tightest setting on the inside strap things and were almost too short. Yep, she turned 2 in July. I tried some 2Ts on her thinking they'd be slimmer. They are, but not slim enough
She's almost potty trained, too, which is going to present another issue since she won't have a diaper to hold up her pants!!
Try Circo brand (Target) pants. They seem to run smaller to me. Maybe you could get a 3T there that would work.
I know..I get's frustrating! Part of our problem is we cloth diaper. I love CDing, but boy does it make him bulky! Good idea about 3T in Circo. Jumping Beans at Kohls also runs smaller...so maybe I can do that. Thanks!
