Allow myself to introduce-- myself.
Since I posted yesterday, I guess I should fess up to lurking. I checked in on The Knot the other day, and realized a bunch of you finally moved over. Awesome!
Hello! My name is Allison. I live in Denton. Got married in June '09. Bought a house in June '10. Had a baby 7 weeks prematurely in June '11. I watch tv, read books, and also do other stuff. I consider myself to be pretty handy, and if you're feeling like reading some paranormal romance, let me know. I won't steer you wrong.

Hi! I remember you too.
June seems to be your big month! Congrats on all of those things!
Hi! Welcome & congrats!
Stephie - Ok, now I want to read it. Link?
ETA: Crap, there's a bio in her siggy. I need to lay down.
ETA x2: I think that you and Tiffany had the same dress!

Hi everyone!
@Stephie- It's funny to me now, too. Henry is doing extremely well, thanks for asking. He is growing like crazy and doing perfectly. I've just had a newborn for an extremely long time.
My bio link still works. I have a review there. I tried to search for the original post where I told the story, but haven't been able to find it yet. The girl was a train wreck. Another knottie had her booked and cancelled after what happened at my wedding. It really was that bad.

So glad to see you here, and so glad Henry is doing well!!
I totally remember your trainwreck DOC. At least it makes a great story now :-) Stick around!
I searched too--the last page on TK only goes back to July '09.
I think the only thing that tops it is the story I think crombiefaye told about her DJ playing "Staying Alive" when they were honoring her elderly grandmother's birthday.
Ah, memories.

I don't remember that but I nearly spit water on my screen!
Yeah Julie I found it:
Dance to surprise my grandmother ? My grandmother?s 90th birthday was the same week so to surprise her we requested ?What a wonderful World? and all the men in the family were going to ?cut in? and dance with her. Thought it would be a sweet moment?
My grandmother?s 90th birthday song ? now remember she is 90 - He played some ?very fast? Happy Birthday to you song with her in the middle of the dance floor. Bless her heart she did the ?Irish Jig? her dad had taught her. Then for her to leave the dance floor he played ?Staying Alive????!!!!! Some of the guests were offended and have mentioned this to us. I hope everyone realizes we did not request that.

I know it's not nice but I did laugh. I still can't believe that he did that though.
