Re: clicky: gyno
I've had both and prefer male docs.
Can you explain your reasoning?

My Blog
C&P'd from the good morning thread -
I actually preferred the male doctors. The women seemed so cold and heartless and I think were WAY more judgy and brutal.
this. but H doesn't feel comfortable with me using man so I use a woman. I like her though.
Why does your H have an opinion on this?
my H probably wouldn't like it much either, but husky, it's because he knows what in a guy's mind!
But honestly, H has had to do them for med school and he says there's nothing sexual about it, it does not remotely turn him on at all, so I imagine most male gynos feel the same way (except the creepers).

lol I love this and feel the same way. I've had lots of really nice female Dr.s, I love mine now

That! I don't see anything sexy about my legs up in the air, me grimacing my doc looking at my lady bits all up close.
I'm going to guess they see thousands of vajayjays a year and I assume, after a while it's about as exciting as looking at teeth.
lol. he made it known. i didn't ask about it. but i feel bad to go against his wishes.. submissive wife. lol. sike. you know i wear the pants! lol.
Sorry, I hope this didn't come off rude, I'm genuinely confused and curious about this.
I'll say, for my H, he'd just rather not think about any other guy seeing my lady bits, even though he knows it isn't sexual. I don't know, seems normal to me.

Interesting.
I guess my H is the weird one? A while ago I distinctly remember asking my H (I was thinking about switching docs bc of billing issues) if he cared and he said something like "it's your body, go to who you like, i don't care."
My H is really easy going about male doctor stuff too, but I prefer a female doc. He's the same (see bolded) with abortion, cutting/coloring my hair, tattoos, piercings, etc.

Ive just always gone to my primary care provider who happens to be a man. But im ok with going to either. I figure they both have to know the parts and its their job.
For waxing though i might be more comfortable going to a woman
The last male I went to told me
"Your cramps can't really be that bad, try heat and advil."
=/ I was less than pleased!
This is exactly why I would prefer a woman. I'm sorry, but a dude just can't understand how bad cramps can be.
I would have wanted to punch that dude in the face.
