feeling dumb -- why modify?
Carly's answer to the vaccine question made me feel bad for never questioning the vaccine schedule. Carly, can you tell me some of Dr. Sear's arguments for modifying the schedule?
Re: feeling dumb -- why modify?
omg you are not a bad parent! Everyone does things differently for differnt reasons, we are all just trying to do what works for our families
Anyway he actually does not argue either side in this book (which is why I liked this particular resource). He is not for or against the american academy of pediatrics schedule. He provides information for both using their schedule and modifying and then you can make your own decision. This is just one parenting choice we made that made me more comfortable. I am 100% pro vaccination I just like to spread them out a little more than the AAP recommends. I can PM our personal reason on FB if you want
If you don't mind, I'd love to hear. Thanks!
I felt the same way as MM...like, "why didn't I ever research that??"
Can you PM me too?
