Make-Up Recommendations

I know this has been asked before but please recommend your make-up-  I have am eye stye currently.  Didn't develop from make-up but I will need to get new make-up when it is healed up.  I have been wanting to try some new stuff lately designed for mroe combination to dryer skin types...looking at bare escentuals but was also looking for any other recommendations!

Re: Make-Up Recommendations

  • I was always a drugstore powder/foundation girl but went to Sephora earlier this year and had them help me pick out something new.  I went in knowing I wanted to try mineral makeup b/c of reviews I had heard and they recommended CoverFx over Bare Minerals and I really like it--easy to use and good coverage and one compact of the mineral powder lasted me 6 months.

I have always been a drugstore foundation person too!  Thanks for the recommendation of CoverFX- will have to check that out-

  • I like Clinique City Base for foundation, and pretty much all things Clinique!
  • I have been on a Mary Kay kick lately.  Their stuff stays put all day and doesn't cost THAT much more than WalMart, ect.

  • My mom had bought some Avon mineral powder and it was too light for her so she gave it to me. Normally I would never use Avon as I used it a loooooong time ago and hated it...but I have found my new foundation. The tiniest bit of powder covers my entire cheek, it has a mechanism so only a tiny bit of powder comes out at a time, it blends really well, and the coverage is awesome. =]

For everything else I use ELF. I tried it because there was a groupon a few weeks ago, and I LOVE it. Plus it's super cheap. They have a liquid eyeliner pen for $1. LOVE.
