My FSIL's bachelorette party is next Saturday, starting at my house. Does anyone have any fun game ideas? We're pretty laid back and low key, but I want it to be fun!
Re: Bachelorette Party Games
I was just at a b-party a couple of weekends ago, and we played 2 games, Pin the Kiss on the Hunk (the party planner put a picture of the groom on the hunks face), and then a game about how well you know the bride, it asks about of relationship questions about the groom and bride, some of question are a little much. Both of the games were store bought games.
I know if you are bar hopping some people do the "suck for a buck" t-shirt on the bride, or a scavenager hunt with the whole party. I have done the scavenager hunt before at a party and that was fun!!!
Hopefully the party is a blast!
Will you be drinking? We had everyone get a pair of undies for the bachelorette, and place them in a gift bag unmarked. you can get cheap underwear this days. Then the bachelorette opens each bag and tries to guess who they are from. If she is right, the person who bought the undies does a shot. If she's wrong, she does a shot. People usually get creative about the undies, some buy granny panties, and others really cute ones. And it seems to get the party going. But of course, this is if there will be drinking...
If you're not into drinking, you can make small penis shaped cakes and have a decorating contest....sprinkles, red icing, coconut, i won't go into detail what those are used for....
We did that at a friend's party too! It was half cute undies and then half grandma XXL undies, it was a good game to play because a lot of us didn't know each other, so it was just as much fun for the guests as it was for the bride.
A friend did the undies game and they hung them up on the mantel (like a clothes line).
I like the cake decorating idea, that seems kinda fun.
I threw a party last year and the bride wanted no drinking- and of course all bach party ideas seem to be focused on drinking. I planned a few "Minute to Win It" games- relatively cheap and fun. We did the cookie on your forehead and try to get it to your mouth without hands. We tied a banana around our waists and raced to see who could knock 2-3 oranges into a circle on the floor (supposed to use hula hoops but I had none so we made our own circles)- that was fun and eluded to 'dirty' without going the full dirty mode.
I think I played a bingo game or something at a party once that involved shots- it may have been a 'have you ever' game? I dont remember, that was many years ago now. My other friend had a penis pinata at hers- that was A LOT of fun. We ended up naming it and bringing it out with us to the bars.
Getting back to it- my diet and exercise blog
