Updated: Family vibes

Keep 'em coming!!!  The river crested at 42.8 feet...literally inches from the top of going over.  Luckily the walls are holidng the water, but they keep having issues from the bottom where the water is soaking through the base and bubbling up from underneath...now the hope is that it doesn't give out from underneath.  They brought in dump trucks of dirt and rocks to try to keep those areas reinforced.  They aren't going to be comfortable about the areas behind the levees being safe until the river is down to under 30 feet...so they have about 7 or so more feet left of worry.  Here's hoping it recedes quicky and safely!  The areas that weren't protected by the levee are completely under water..it's awful (see my fb page for pics).   I'm so thankful my parents and grandparents houses are both in areas protect by that levee system!

 Just wanted to update you!
