XP: Huntsville ladies

I KNOW one of you really wants a super sweet adorable calico kitty!!!  Porch Kitty showed up in the back of my husband's truck sitting in our driveway a few days ago and he gave her some food and now we're stuck with her.  She's small so she's probably still pretty young.  Any takers?

I don't think my doggies would get along with a kitty, but I'd suggest contacting some rescues.  We used MARF (Madison Animal Rescue Foundation) to adopt one of our dogs and the Huntsville Humane Society (No kill shelter) when we adopted ours... We also fostered a HUGE lab pup a few months back that was wandering around our neighborhood.  We were able to find him a good home through posting all over facebook, posting on MARFs facebook page, contacting all the shelters, etc.  I'd also take some pictures, draft up an email and send it to everyone you know and ask them to pass it along.  Good luck!

I've done all of that.  I've only had one rescue shelter (TLC) in the area willing to help out.  We're going to keep her at our house until we can find a home for her, but TLC is going to help get her spayed in the meantime.  I've already posted on FB, and sent an email out to everyone at work.
