Hi, Houston Nesties! I posted a couple years ago but life got in the way of me posting more or ever meeting anyone. I remember sharing some great stories and learning great advice with you all back then though. So I am sorry I've not had a chance to get to know anyone at this point.
....My FIL had a massive stroke and was at TIRR for a year and a half. Then my mom had a stroke. Besides switching our diets, DH and I deal with stress by working and both got big promotions so nesting has not been possible....Recently we've kicked our TTC journey in high gear and I've been posting on the GP board. So I thought I'd skip over here and say hello. No kids yet after four years of trying but hanging on to hope!
About us -We live in League City. I am just nearly 34. DH is 38 and a triplet so very close to his family, all who live a few miles from us. We both work in energy industry -me as managing editor of news service and him as a project manager at software company. My poor mom is very sick so lives with us. I love LSU football and gumbo. I think that is about it.
How is everybody doing this weekend?
Re: waves hello two years later
Welcome back! Sounds like you've had a hectic 2 years!
I've seen you post on the ttc boards, and read your response to someone asking what is the right age to have children. Hearing about your mom having you young & your difficulties it touched me. Hopefully your ttc journey isnt to much longer & you are blessed with a wonderful child!
Hi warontv! I recognize your siggy pic. I had not noticed you were from Houston. It seems like everyone on that board is from the Northeast. Thanks for the blessings and good luck to you too on that journey!
Hi TexasHarmony. I remember you too. I don't think you were gold poster back then yet! I did start a cooking blog but have probably not updated it since 2009. Shame shame shame on me. So many ideas, so little time to figure it out.
