Morning Sickness, how long did it last?
My m/s have been kicking my butt Lately and just wanted to get some input from you ladies...[Poll]
"don't ever let go of my hands" teejay..

Re: Morning Sickness, how long did it last?
Same here minus the both pregnancies part. It was the worst when I smelled anything citrus. Even walking past the orange tree in the yard got to me.

lol Chelsea, I think of you all the time. Actually, thinking of you during my first tri got me through it. I just kept thinking "I could have it worse, it could be worse..."
It still sucked though, but by week 12 I was signigicantly better. Went from feeling miserable 24-7 to just a few short waves a day until week 16. Then I was in the clear! Hang in there!
First time, I had occasional nausea throughout my first tri, which quit on the day I began my second trimester (and was traded with extreme heartburn which I had the entire rest of my pregnancy). Second time, I had horrible, all-day, every day queasiness. It ended somewhere around the beginning of my 2nd trimester. But with both pregnancies, I never threw up.

I think you had the worst case of m/s I've ever heard of. I can't imagine that nightmare.. but look at that sweet baby girl!! I love your new sign pics, she is absolutely adorable!
This for me. I was queasy for a few weeks, but made so to eat some crackers gnaw on some ginger regularly. It was gone after a few weeks. I am scared that it will be much worse if we try again. I should mention that the pregnancy that I lost at 7 weeks was terrible for m/s. And it was summer. And I had no a/c in the car. And it was a 30 minute ride one way to work. Blech.
Chelsea, I always think of you, too, and think "that poor girl. I could have it so much worse." You definitely win the m/s award!
I've been nauseous pretty much 24/7 (and even more so when I'm hungry) since about week 5 or 6 (never threw up though), but in the last few days it seems to be tapering off. I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow, and for the past few days it seems to be just occasional waves of nausea (of course, today is pretty regular waves - I may have jinxed myself). I'm hoping this is a sign that things are looking up.
Good luck! Hopefully you get some relief soon.

I think I had the worst that I have ever heard of as well, lol. My mom wants me to have another and keeps telling me "Oh, I was so sick with my first and after that, I didn't have any problems"... She has NO IDEA how I felt or what I went through. Lila is our one and only
I would love another, but I can't bare the thought of going through that again.
