Church Update

Yesterday we decided to go back to the main campus of the church we had attended. (The smaller campus that we attended no longer has Sunday services).   We finally made it throught a service without being paged!  When I went to pick him up, he was happily playing with his new friends.  The teachers said that he had a great time and didn't cry at all. Looks like we have found the church for us.

 I also find it interesting that his teachers were parent volunteers versus the other churches that had paid nursery workers.  And this is the largest church of any that we visited.  I am happy that we found a place that W feels comfortable. : )

That's awesome, Stephanie! Glad W is so happy there! It's very interesting about the volunteer vs paid workers.

That's awesome!  I didn't realize the other churches had paid workers.  All the churches I've been to have all had parent volunteers.  Maybe that is the difference.  Maybe the parents understand more.  Either way...yay!

That's great to hear! This is one of the reasons I'm afraid to start going to church around here. I have no idea how the nursery situation works or if they even have one. DH's old church doesn't, but there's typically only about 12-15 people in the service, most of whom are family. So she'd likely just get passed around during the service anyway
