The Knot
I have a question for you ladies! I have been over on The Knot's page a lot lately. We are planning our wedding. I just feel everyone over there is kind of stuck up! I just don't get it. Am I the only one to see it this way?

I never really posted on TK, but I lurked some while planning our wedding and agree with you. I definitely found that to be true on some boards.
There are a few boards on TN like that also, but for the most part it seems to be a more balanced crowd. I lurked for a while and found a few boards that had a vibe I like and now I stick with those.
Whatever you do, don't ever go to TB...not even if you have a child, LOL. It's all kinds of crazy and immaturity over there!
I blame the hormones!
I really only lurked on The Knot, mostly to get ideas. I was far too relaxed about everything wedding related for those ladies
But I agree with PP, we may not answer right away, but I'm trying to be better about checking in and we're all pretty happy to answer questions!

I agree with you completely. Usually the local boards aren't as bad though. I think the mod that KY has now is ok, but the last one was one of the real B's on the knot. It was sad because I was a member on a different wedding website, and there was a person on there venting about their esperiance on the knot, and they had posted something in the ettiquite board on the knot and had gotten reemed by those ladies. Unfortunatly the one that looking like the leader of the ladies on ettiquite was the ky mod. I was so ashamed.
Anyway, I would definatly be willing to help however possible. I try to be on here regularly.
