Re: Silhouette versus Cricut
I have both. Bought the Cricut first because it and all the items for it were easily available in stores if I needed them. If I were to do it over again I'd go with the SIlhouette. I would have saved myself $250 doing so because I would have nevre got a Cricut.
It really depends on what your needs and wants are. If you want super simple where you get an image from a crat, pop it in and cut then Cricut. If you don't mind putting a little more effort then the SIlhouette is awesome. It uses a computer software program (and you can use 3rd party software). Downloads are $.99 each and if you have the 3rd party software you can get SVG files for free or collections for much cheaper than you can buy a cartridge for.
