Naked people at the gym

It gets pretty off topic, but I think I have to somewhat agree with OP's original statement. If you're getting out of the shower/changing, I'm totally fine with being naked. Why do people do their hair/makeup/talk on their phone, etc butt naked? Anyone experience this at your gym?

I didn't read every single response, but I agree with the OP---unless you're in the process of getting dressed, why be walking around naked??  I understand not wanting to get dressed the second you get out of the shower, but how about throwing a towel on while doing hair, makeup, etc.?  

I've never experienced this, but there's not a community bathroom at the gym I went to.  It's just a larger bathroom with 1 toilet, 1 shower, etc...I'd be weirded out if I walked into a room full of naked women just hanging out....

Given I am such a prude, we all know how I feel about this!  I certainly would not feel comfortable being so nekkid but to each his own.....but I agree that being naked while doing one's make-up, talking on the phone (why would one talk on the phone while in the bathroom at the gym?), etc is unnecessary.

I've never seen this at any gym. I sometimes get ready in the morning at home this way because I get hot when drying and straightening my hair, but have some self awareness and remember you're in public people.

Our gym isn't like that, but it's a pretty small gym. I hardly ever see anyone in the locker room. I would be so uncomfortable if there were butt naked women walking around the locker room and getting ready, but I'm a prude

I'm surprised at how many of the posters said it was normal at their gyms. The only naked women I've seen in the locker room at my gym have been in the process of dressing or undressing. If people want to cool off while fixing their hair or before getting dressed, they wrap in a towel or put on their underwear rather than walk around naked.
