Hi ladies. We have an appointment at CHOP for our 9 mos old daughter and are meeting FIL for lunch afterwards. He suggested jones restaurant on chestnut. I looked at the menu online and it looks a little fancy. Can any one tell me if it's child friendly? My DD is well behaved, but let's call a spade a spade, she's a baby. I'd hate to ruin someone's business lunch if the place isn't child appropriate.
TIA.

Re: Jones restaurant?
Definitely child friendly. Enjoy the mac and cheese.
That's okay. FIL lives in Glenside - so originally I thought we'd be driving there. Google Maps has it at 4 miles from CHOP. That's doable!
Thanks ladies. I appreciate it. FIL lives sort of in a different circle than we do, so I'm never sure if his restaurant choices are more "us" or more "him".
DH already can't wait for their "thanksgiving dinner".

ditto pp. jones is kid friendly, the only issue is that parking can be a bit iffy. have fun!
there are parking garages around there for parking. we have taken our son there was he was itty bitty but perfectly child friendly.
but no really THANKSGIVING DINNER is like my favorite philly comfort food meal. i am only 100% sad that when we move jones no longer delivers to my home.
Let's go pre-babies - I could probably eat everything on their menu right now.

Just don't get the matzoh ball soup as the only item for lunch! Remember when we went for lunch and all I had was this sad, small bowl of soup?
I was just thinking the same thing. Since I saw this post this morning, I have been craving their grilled cheese and tomatoe soup. If I wasn't all the way out in Chester County, I would have left for lunch already!! I could also go for an order of their monkey bread.
That was sad! And so wierd b/c their portions are usually generous. We may have to go there again so Jones can redeem itself.
