I'm waiting..
..for a phone call from job #2. I left the ED a msg yesterday. He in return left me a voice mail (sending it with urgent status!) telling me they are definitely interested in hiring me and think I would be a great fit. He said he'd call first thing this morning "with more details". He's on west coast time right now so I'm just hanging out by the phone waiting.

Got the call! Poor ED, he's at a conference out of town and now has to deal with this. Well he told me I'm their #1 pick right now. And to speed things up he is going to try and get me in to the office tomorrow or Friday for the 2nd interview. So even though he won't be in town he's going to see if other people can move forward with me. Now I just need to buy a bit more time with job #1.....

Awesome J! It's such a good place to be, between two great jobs that both want you. I really hope you get your first pick. If you're already their #1 pick, it's got to be in the bag. People rarely change their minds after their impressions from the first interview.
