Yup, that's kind of where I am, too. It would only ever work if I were the third person though, I'm too insecure and jealous to share whoever I'm with...so if it were couple who both attracted me, but I wasn't IN the couple, and I was single, I'd think about it seriously.

Prior to getting married I think I would have done it if the right opportunity presented itself.

devils advocate: what's the difference prior to getting married or not? or do you guys mean single-single-before-meeting-h?

i've always been intrigued, and am pretty interested in trying. h is more scared than i am to try... our problem is we don't know who the innocent third party would be. it'd be too awkward to add in someone we know...and also pretty awkward to add in somebody we don't know!

The difference for me is just that I'm not willing to share H! So, I would have had to be completely single (not seeing anyone) to consider it.

This.  I am way too jealous to share DH or anyone I loved.  I'd have to be single or in a meaningless relationship.  Maybe with DH in very early stages of our relationship b/f it was serious.  And I would have to be drunk, very drunk.

hahaha i told h that if it were to ever happen, i was the only one to be receiving double the attention. he could only focus on me. our 3rd could only focus on me, and i wasn't giving anything to the 3rd.  so i don't want to share him either, but he could share me, lol.
