Des Moines Pediatrics

I just want to thank those of you who recommended Des Moines Pediatrics to me for my LO. We met Dr Petersen both days in the hospital and she was so nice. Then, when Wyatt was 4 days old and hadn't pooped in over two days, we saw her again in the office on a Saturday and again, she was very helpful and kind. I went in there almost crying, afraid that Wyatt was in pain or something was wrong. When we left, I felt sooo much better.

Then we had to go back two days later to re check his weight. This time we saw Dr Secory and again, an amazing experience. Both DH and I are so impressed with both doctors we've met so far and are so incredibly grateful for such an amazing pediatrician's office! Being new parents we feel so lost sometimes and they never make us feel bad or dumb or anything.

aw, that is so good to hear!  of course i think dr. secory is awesome (my dh), and we usually try to take our girls to see dr. petersen (though the others are great too).  so glad you had good experiences!  don't ever feel dumb, they are there to answer any and all questions. it is tough work being a parent, especially a first time parent - anything they can do to ease your concerns is worth your call and their time.

I will second this practice! We just had Cate's 2 wk check yesterday with Dr Secory and he was amazing! Understood all of my anxieties and completely reassured me. Favorite comment from him...in regards to her diaper rash...keep her lubed up. My dh said that was just wrong yes allhis your dh said that
