Re: Wednesday randoms
Me three!
I'm guilty of busting out the calender to see how many weeks till my next vacation. 5, in case you are wondering. Let the countdown begin (6 hours into my first day back after 5 days off.
)
I am so envious of people who get to stop work at 5:00 and get to take vacations in 5 weeks
Awww...I know why you made that connection and yes it is the same person.
Awesome. And this guy's voice is just like that of Bruce from Family Guy.
I just snorted. Because I agree.
I have a couple names in mind about who you could be referring to, but can't zero in on any of them.
Me too!
11 weeks for me. That sounds so far away. Maybe I shouldn't have counted. I was so excited about it before I did. Although it is really nice just to have something on the calendar to look forward to.
Oh, my.
Where are you both going next?
This! I have to have something to look forward to.
Just Florida.
But I'm very excited.
Any trip is worth getting excited about, I say.
I'm thinking about a long weekend in Florida this winter to visit my grandma. We haven't been there to see her in about 10 years.
She spends summers in Michigan, so we do get to see her every year, but we should really go there for a visit. Plus, after last winter, I swore I'd make sure B got out of Michigan at some point this winter in hopes about minimizing seasonal moodiness.
February is my darkest month, thank you SAD. I need to plan somewhere warm and sunny for then...
Well, it is my birthday present from XN. And it was the reason he was being a stick in the mud and didn't want to do anything extravagant over my birthday weekend. We are going to NYC to watch the Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(we have two sets of friends living there now so free lodging makes it possible!)
O M G....that just cracked me up.
How fun! :-) Good job XN!
D&M, I'm so sorry about your uncle. And the fireworks that happened at your house. That's absurd.
Hoek, I have seen the crocs in question. I don't if there's a such thing as a girly shade of orange, but if there is, he's not sporting it.
Kasa, that's crazy about the connection. And now I'm really curious (gvsu) about how you would know how she made that deduction. *tapping my temple*
I have had a full day with a small job (successful) meeting, a quick and imprompteau coffee date with my husband, making centerpieces for the parents' anniversary party, and reading for Friday's class.
Seriously. I'm jealousE of all of you and your H's who suprise you with awesome birthday gifts.
Absurd is the perfect word to describe it.
It sounds like you've had a pretty great day!
GVSU is all-knowing. Also, see the FB page I sent you yesterday.
Awesome! That will be so fun.
Late night check in:
We were insane busy with thing this afternoon. DH got so frustrated with a machine I thought he was going to put is fist through it but ended up just cursing OS X Lion in as many ways he could think of.
Hoek: My first thought of orange crocs were of Mario Bitali from the Food network. Based on him ALWAYS wearing orange crocs I figure that they are acceptable for a boy to wear.
