maternity consignment shops?

Does anyone know if there are any consignment shops in the area that specifically sell maternity clothes?

Re: maternity consignment shops?

  • It's not a shop, but Just Between Friends in Oaks is having their consignment sale this weekend. I sold stuff in the spring and volunteered.

Because I volunteered I got in early, so my shopping was for little guy's summer outdoor toys.  It wasn't until I volunteered (which was after the shopping was open...it was the tear down portion) I noticed how HUGE the maternity section was. I was KICKING myself for not  shopping it. Super cheap clothing and HUGE selection

You can get in starting tonight as a new mom.

  • worn yestarday on main street had stuff but it wasn't a great selection and the whole place is like a bomb went off.

ebay is a good source for denim.

  • Jen- i have some gap long and lean maternity jeans you can have, i think we are about the same size. i already gave all my other maternity stuff to my (much shorter) pregnant friend. message me on fb if you dont have my email and we can work something out

  • Thanks Kel but I'm good on jeans.  I was looking more for work stuff - business casual tops and dress pants - and some casual sweaters for the fall/winter.

I did order some stuff from ON maternity but I'm afraid one wash and it will be ruined.  I feel like their clothes in general used to be such a great deal but I find they are making clothes with thinner materials now that just don't hold up.

  • I've never been there myself, but my sister got a couple of cute maternity dresses from Kid-to-Kid on Township Line Rd. (Rt 1) in Drexel Hill.  It's a consignment shop for baby gear & maternity clothes.
  • My favorite maternity pieces are from Gap.  I agree about ON.  It's great for everyday sort of stuff but not great for work.  I got a few decent things from JCPenney.  Not stuff that I'd have bought if I wasn't pregnant but it wasn't all pink and bow-y.

This is where I picked up a bunch of stuff as well as sold mine when all was said and done. Have you check out a Pea in the Pod, they usually have some pretty good sales.
Once you find out where you are size wise I second lachute, ebay is a great place. Oh and if you get anything from Target order a size smaller, my stuff was all HUGE and unwearable.
